Celebrating a Successful Week Without Walls and Looking Ahead
Congratulations to our middle school and secondary students on a successful Week Without Walls! From painting and grilling shashlyk to team-building activities, students represented QSI Astana with responsibility, kindness, and enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see our Success Orientations in action beyond the classroom.
As we enter the final three and a half weeks of school, learning remains our focus. Students are actively wrapping up final units, preparing for assessments, and working toward academic goals. Older students are also making schedule choices, shaping summer plans, and closing or upgrading units.
While this season brings well-deserved celebrations and recognition, learning remains at the center of our school days. With consistent attendance, clear structure, and high expectations, we are supporting students to stay engaged and continue growing through the final weeks of the year.
Thanks,
Harshita Tewani

Business Day Announcement!
Dear Parents,
One of the students’ favorite events, the Business Day, is on the 16th of June. On this day students get a chance to create a business and start selling food items or services for profit. Your child may also choose to not sell anything and only buy from others. You can help your child by following these steps/rules:
-
All items for sale should be hand-made (no re-selling purchased snacks, etc).
-
Send 1000 tenge to school to exchange for 100 Wolf Bucks (so that your child could buy from others)
-
Help your child if s/he is planning to sell items to understand what every sale involves (for example, buying sugar and flour for baking, disposable cups for lemonade and paint for face painting). In addition, every seller would “take a loan” from school to pay for a plot, table/chairs and receive change. This amount would be subtracted from the profit before profits are converted to tenge and distributed between the sellers.
Your help will be crucial for a successful Business Day!
Thank you and do not hesitate to ask any questions.
